Default GIMP TUTORIALS CHANGE EYE COLOR

1. First Open your picture. Im using this one royalty free one from http://www.sxc.hu/index.phtm

2. Then add a new layer, and click the quickmask icon You may want to zoom in here.

3. Select a round fuzzy brush thats just a bit smaller than than the iris and gently erase the mask over both Irises until there is no mask showing

4. Unclick the qmask and see if you are happy with it

5. Choose a colour. I have picked 00c600.

6. Bucket fill the selection. Go to select > None

7. Change the Layer Mode to either "colour" or "hue", depending on the effect you like best. If you want it vibrant, choose colour and play with the opacity settings untill you are happy.

8. Just use the smudge tool to gently feather the edges and create a natural look.

9. If its looking good, then merge the layer down.

10. Save your image.
