|  Gimp - Layers?
I'm confused about the layers on gimp. I know what the icons stand for *via cravepain's tutorial* But would somone please explain how to use them. If you could it would be very appreciated. Thank you -Sammy

| Re: Gimp - Layers? Layers are there to keep things separate. For example, you can draw on a top layer and color on a bottom layer. When making posters you could have a background on the bottom layer, your avatar on the middle layer, and text on the top layer. Was there something specific you wanted to do? | |||||||
