Default GIMP Poster

How do you make a poster? I saw in one thread how, but it didnt work. I've tried once, and it turned out great, except for a white line around my meez. How do i do it so the line isnt there?

btw, here was the one that turned out great... That is, compared to my other trys:



and its not really based on ashleyamazing's siggy anymore i dont think, cause i think she changed it....


please help

You will see the white line a lot in your pictures. The most you can do is zoom in very close and color them to the color near by or smudge them away.

Actually there is a little trick when you create a backrground or paste the meez,or....anyhow...., when you select a zone, you got some kind of a regulator...this regulator serves at indicating how important the selection is and thus how close to the lines you'll be:


sorry my gimp is french :S so yeah just make it so that it select the closer to the outlines (not too much otherwise it might color the inner part of your selection...
It can HELP at REDUCING white outlines but for sure doesn't solve the problem 100% of the time...some users know how to do it even more precisely but that's the only way i know sorry...hope it helped...

and its okay with the french; i understand it. I was living in Montreal before i moved, so i learnt how to speak it, though i suck

Ok, i made this before anyone answered this, and it turned out better than before..... But i dont know how i did it
