Cool Icon How to Make a Poster/Siggy on GIMP! Really works!

This is how you do it!

1. Open GIMP (duh!)
2. Create the background for your poster/siggy.

3. Go to file, then Open as layers.

4. Choose the picture of your meez that you want. And move it in the spot you want it to be in.
5. Use the eraser tool and erase the "meez.com"

6. Click the Fuzzy Select Tool, and click your meez.

7. Right click the image, go to colors, then go to color to alpha.

8. A window will pop up. Make sure you have the right settings, then click ok.

9. Now, the white around your image should be gone. If you image is like mine, there may still be some white parts. Use the Fuzzy Select Tool, and click on all those spots, then do the color to alpha thing.
10. When all the white is gone, and your happy with that part of your work, right click the image, then go to layer, then merge down.

11. You'll see lines moving around your picture. You can just drag those out of the way.

Now your done! Add your name, or a text using the little A symbol, and you'll be winning contests in no time!

Here is my finished siggy! (The body is see-through at one point, but I dont know how to fix that, but yours shouldnt do that)

Thanks to Calou for helping me, and almost everyone on Meez.com!And I'm sorry it's so long..
