Dear Readers,
In this tutorial I will teach you how to make your voice sound like a chipmunk. Before i teach this tutorial, you will need 3 things.
1.) A computer
2.) A microphone for your computer
3.) Audacity.
Most PC computers have audacity on them but If your computer doesn't have the program you can download it at the link below.

Audacity: Free Audio Editor and Recorder

Step 1.) Obtain the program AUDACITY

Step 2.) Open the program

Step 3.) Record your voice into the microphone

Step 4.) Click STOP when finished with voice

Step 5.) Highlight your selection

Step 6.) Go to the top if your screen and find EFFECT

Step 7.) Click on either CHANGE TEMPO or CHANGE PITCH

Step 8.) [on either selection] click on the slider bar

Step 9.) change the setting to 59.6 (or something close)

Step 10.) Click PREVIEW to hear what it sounds like

Step 11.) Click GENERATE or APPLY (or something close)

Step 12.) you are done

*the reason I keep adding "or close" is because different versions of Audacity may say something else, I have hadd mine since 07 and I know that 08 is different a little bit
