Thumbsup Icon Audacity Tutorial: How to save your projects to Mp3, Wav, etc.

In this tutorial I will try to teach you how to save your audacity projects into MP3, WAV, etc. For this tutorial you will need 4 things.
1.) computer
2.) Microphone
3.) AUDACITY
4.) LAME.DLC file (yes that is what the file is actually called)

you can get these programs from

Audacity: Free Audio Editor and Recorder AUDACITY
and
LAME MP3 Encoder :: Software Downloads LAME.DLC

Step one: Open Audacity

Step TWo: Record your audio track into the microphone

Step Three: Click stop when you are done

Step Four: Go to FILE> EXPORT AS MP3

Step Five: identify that you have LAME.DLC on your computer

Step Six: Click finish

Step Seven: You are done

Howare you going to indentify that you have lame.dlc on ur comp though smart one?

Well when you download it ,and click export as MP3, your computer will ask you to find the file on your computer and you should be able to know where you saved it to

Is there a way to take just a regular music file that you put on to your computer and change the voice of it and edit it. Because i cant figure it out.

Yeah just open audacity, then go to FILE>IMPORT FILE(or music, what ever the import tab is) and find the song to add

Ive tried that but when i press play, it goes threw the song in 5 seconds, and when i tried to add effects to it, it sounded like a loud screetchy noise
