Are you on a pc or a mac? (controls are different)
And did you try to paste your image onto a program?
If so what program?

I tried to take a screen shot, but it will not work. I have a PC and I presses "PRT SC" which is the same as "insert." Nothing happened, but I opened up Paint and I wasn't able to paste anything. My guess is that I somehow did not do it right. Can you please help me? Thanks.

There could be a few scenarios of this problem...
1.) your pc isnt equiped with the right software
-How To fix: You may download the program "SCREENHUNTER" (see link below)
2.) Your pc isnt enabled with the software
-How to fix: Go to START>CONTROL PANEL>HARDWARE AND SOUND>KEYBOARD>BUTTONS>RESTORE DEFAULTS
3.) Your PC may not have registered the screenshot in the image
-How to fix: Retry the screenshot
4.) Your PC is set to Scroll Lock
-How to fix: hit the Scroll Lock button until there is no light on the keyboard indicating Scroll Lock.
5.) Your PC was commanded differently...
-How to fix: instead of hitting PRT SCR, hit ALT+F4 (only if screenshot doesnt work with PRT SCR)
6.) Your pc is too old to understand PRT SCR. (usually if pc is from 1980 and beyond)
-How to fix: Try updating your software with microsoft's online services
Let me know if none of these still didnt work...there are more solutions to this...

You may download screenhunter at the link below...

Thank you Chris. I tried the first solution and it worked. Is this a trial version of the software? If so, where can I buy the actual software?
