IMVU Siggy Tutorial
Disclaimer: My handwriting may be illedgible at times I will leave the text directions up
Also: The pics are huge, sorry

1) open IMVU
2) go to shop and dress the avatar in whatever you want
3) situate your avatar on the screen and hit the prt scrn button
4) open paint, paste, crop, and save
5) end imvu and open your editing program
6) open your imvu picture and erase the background
7) file>new 400x200.
8) create a background. Filters>decor>round corners
9) on the new image that opens, right click>image>flatten image and copy the new picture
10) open a new image 576x576 (or 8inx8in)
11) paste the background on a new layer
12) go back to the imvu picture and select the avi. Copy
13) paste it on a new layer on the big image. Place it were you want, resize as needed.
14) filters>light and shadow>drop shadow. Erase any shadow on the background.
15) flatten the image and crop
16) add text, animation, etc here. When you are done, save xD

(Copy background onto the new image)

Finished product:

If you copy and paste it onto a new transparent image, it is just a white block.

Step One: Open IMVU (If you don't have IMVU, download it at imvu.com. [You have to create an account.] If you don't download IMVU, this tutorial will not be possible.]

Step Nine: Design a background that appeals to you or the person you are making the siggy for. (This can be gradient, painted with stamp brushes, or perhaps even a real picture, whatever you want)

Step Ten: When you are finished, go to Filters>Decor>Round Corners. Keep all the settings. Then right click on the image Image>Flatten Image. Copy the new flattened image.

Step Eleven: Open a new large page, (Around 8inx8in) and paste the siggy on a new transparent layer.

Step Twelve: Go back to the page with the avatar on it. Take the lasso tool and begin to trace around the avatar. When you are finished, copy it.

Step Thirteen: Go back to the large page and paste the avatar on a new transparent layer.

Step Fourteen: Position the avatar on the siggy (Re-size as needed but, the avatar will look better if it's 'sticking out')

Step Fifteen: On the avatar layer, create a drop shaow (Filters>Lights ans Shadow>Drop Shadow) Keep all settings. When that is done, erase any shadow on the siggy part, and flatten the image. Crop the image.

Step Sixteen: Create any text, animation and other things you want, here. When you are done, save as a PNG image and you're done!
